  2. http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/shelves/Cheese_in_Aldi.html apparently it can be in Aldi, I checked! maybe they use all the tatty end bits and a cheaper cheddar?

    1. You are right. The end and sides of a cheese are used for grated cheese. That's why it doesn't taste like real cheese. The end bits are more dried out than the rest, so it won't be as sticky.
